It’s been a long stretch of winter here in Uxbridge, and I think we’re all craving a little comfort right about now.
These slower months always remind me how important small pleasures are — warm food, soft knits, a beautifully set table, a simple gathering with friends. That’s exactly the feeling I’ve been leaning into at the shop lately.
After scoring a couple of new display units and spending an evening rearranging things with Mr. TLS, we created a brand new space we’re calling The Pantry Shelf — and it might be my favourite corner yet.

The Pantry Shelf is filled with delicious staples that turn everyday meals into something special.
Alongside our longtime favourites — Lake & Oak teas, Kanel salts and blends, and our comforting soups — we’ve added:

The Bacon Apple jam has quickly become a top seller. It’s incredible layered into a grilled cheese sandwich or spooned over bubbling brie. Simple ingredients, elevated moments.
There’s something so grounding about keeping a well-stocked pantry — especially this time of year.

These artisan soups are handmade in St. Thomas, Ontario, inspired by flavours from around the world while sourcing ingredients as close to home as possible. They’re easy to prepare (stovetop, Instant Pot, or slow cooker) and perfect for busy evenings when you still want something comforting and homemade.
There’s something timeless about a pot of soup simmering on the stove.
