We need your help. The Lemonade Stand, located in Uxbridge, Ontario is hiring, and we need someone with just the right mix of experience, personality and potential. Here’s the scoop:
Part-time Studio Associate
Thursdays 4 - 7 pm, every other Saturday, Sundays during high season
{hours may increase or decrease as necessary, including evenings}
Job Description (Is this you?)
You have a background in customer service, and a love of handmade products. Your days will be focused on serving our customers. You will become an expert on all of our products, including all of our three paint lines and will gain satisfaction from offering guidance and colour consultations for our customers. Downtime will be spent on administrative jobs, studio maintenance, inventory and other retailer related tasks. We will provide you with a supportive and fun environment.
Skills/Qualifications {non-negotiables}
- Previous customer service / retail experience.
- A sense of humor, and positive attitude. Our brand is creative, vintage and unique. You will be the first point of contact for most of our customers so we want you to reflect those qualities too.
- Multi-tasker and initiative taker. You know how to prioritize your time between assisting customers in store & online, tracking inventory and assisting with studio tasks.
- Uber-organized + guts. You see how things could be done better, and you’ve got the courage to speak up with ideas for improvement. You can help others see your vision, work with a team, and make changes for the better!
- Ability to lift 10+ lbs regularly, up to 50 lbs occasionally, climb ladders & bend and lift furnishings to help customers.
- Flexibility and willingness to change as we grow and learn together. The Lemonade Stand is a small, relatively new business but we have big dreams and hope you'll be excited to join in our journey!
Bonus Points for any {or all} of the following:
- Social media expertise, either in the business world or your personal experience. If you’ve got a demonstrated aptitude, we can show you the ropes of the business side.
- Painting and furniture restyling experience.
