A Gentle Return to the Garden: Redstone Pottery, Seed Packets & Spring Inspiration
There’s a certain moment in early spring that’s almost easy to miss. The air softens, the light lingers just a little longer, and the garden begins to call us back.
It’s subtle at first, a shift you feel more than see. But once you notice it, it’s hard to ignore.
We’ve been leaning into that feeling in the shop lately, curating pieces that invite you outside again. To dig in the soil, to set the table under open skies, and to simply slow down.
The Beauty of Planting: Simple Spring Gardening Tips
Our newest seed packets have just arrived, and they’re something truly special. Each one is adorned with beautiful artwork almost too lovely to open.
But inside is the real promise: something to tend, to wait for, and to watch come to life.
I started my vegetable gardens about three years ago, quite unexpectedly. Our above-ground pool needed repairing again, and with the kids grown, it was no longer being used. Instead, Mr. TLS built me raised bunkers, and we transformed the space into my garden.
What started as a practical decision became something much more meaningful.
It has brought me so much joy to care for something, to watch it grow, and to be rewarded at the end of the season. It’s a quiet kind of happiness, but a deeply grounding one.
Truthfully, I wouldn’t call myself a natural gardener. I didn’t really know what I was doing at the start. I did a little research, kept a gardening journal, and learned as I went.
Each year has been different, but every season has been rewarding in its own way.
A small tip for spring planting:
Start with just a few varieties you’re drawn to. Something you’ll enjoy cutting, gathering, or even brushing past as you move through your garden. Planting with intention always feels more meaningful than planting in a rush.

This is where our swimming pool use to be. I now have my very own little piece of heaven where I spend a lot of time in the summer.

I love planting my herbs in large redstone or terracotta planters.
Decorating Your Garden with Redstone Pottery & Cement Accents
I’ve always had a soft spot for terracotta and redstone. There’s a warmth to it. A quiet, European charm that pairs so naturally with fresh greens and early blooms.
This season, we’ve brought in some stunning redstone pottery pieces, along with a few cement garden accents that will age beautifully over time, settling into your space as if they’ve always been there.
They’re the kind of pieces that don’t demand attention, but somehow make everything around them feel more complete.

Create a Spa-Like Experience at Home with Eucalyptus Shower Mist
This week, I’ve chosen the St. Anne’s Eucalyptus Shower Mist as my staff favourite.
It continues to be one of our most-loved products in the shop and for good reason.
It’s a 100% pure, therapeutic-grade aromatherapy spray designed to transform your shower into a spa-like steam room. It helps open airways, ease stress, and refresh the senses with its clean, invigorating scent.
I like to spray it on the shower walls just before stepping in. It instantly creates that calming, eucalyptus-filled experience. It is almost like being at Ste. Anne’s.
It’s such a simple ritual, but one that makes an ordinary moment feel a little more special.

Our very popular Ste. Anne's Eucalyptus Shower Mist.
