This year marked the third time we were honoured to be guest designers for the annual Uxbridge Rotary Club Christmas Home Tour—a tradition we always look forward to. It’s a joy to be part of such a festive and meaningful community event.
For 2024, we had the privilege of decorating a stunning open-concept bungalow. Our goal? To craft a holiday atmosphere that felt nostalgic, elegant, and timeless. Here’s how we brought our vision to life:
Timeless Elegance with Natural Accents
We infused the home with a mix of real-touch greenery and vintage-inspired gold bells, evoking the charm of a classic Christmas. Accents like dried oranges and cinnamon sticks added an organic, rustic touch, blending beautifully with the natural elements throughout the space.
Velvet & Burgundy Magic
Velvet ribbons in black and rich burgundy tied the decor together, with pops of burgundy tastefully placed throughout the house for added depth and warmth.
The Show-Stopping Tree
The centerpiece of the home was a majestic 12-foot Christmas tree. To create a fuller, more dynamic silhouette, we added faux eucalyptus picks, softening the classic A-line shape. The tree was adorned with a curated mix of vintage patinaed ornaments, dried oranges and glittering accents, creating a blend of shimmer and old-world charm.
Romance in the Master Bedroom
For the master bedroom, we embraced a romantic and luxurious aesthetic. A stunning white tree, embellished with delicate hanging jewels, became the focal point, perfectly complementing the serene ambiance of the space.
Simple, Sophisticated Table Setting
The dining table was a study in understated elegance. Black chargers anchored the place settings, while cinnamon sticks and sprigs of fresh rosemary added a fragrant, organic touch.
Art & Accents That Shine
One of the highlights was the breathtaking prints we sourced from Hoekstra Decor—these truly stole the show and became instant conversation pieces.
The other show stopper was the faux fur pillows and throw which added another texture to the room.
A bowl of oranges is a simple way to add some festive colour and spirit.
Floral Finishing Touches
Michelle from Moss and Thicket brought our vision to life with her stunning floral arrangements. Her creations were the perfect finishing touches, adding layers of beauty and elegance to every space.
A Touch of Whimsy in the Foyer
The foyer featured a simple yet enchanting white village scene paired with ceramic trees, setting the tone for the holiday magic as guests entered the home.
Gratitude and Community Spirit
It’s always a pleasure to be part of this wonderful tradition. We are deeply grateful to our amazing clients for trusting us with their home, to our talented staff for flawlessly executing every detail, and to the Uxbridge Rotary Club for inviting us to participate once again.
If you loved the decor, many of the items are available at The Lemonade Stand, both in-store and online.
Here’s to creating more holiday magic in the years to come!
